The Government of Balochistan<\/a> has suspended 44 government officials in Turbat and Kohlu, including some of the workers for allegedly taking part in and facilitating the protest sit-in as well as rally against the alleged killing of Balaach Mola Bakhsh.<\/p>\n

It is to be added that, the information about the above mentioned has been shared by the Commissioner of Makran division, confirming about the action against 30 government employees from various departments in Turbat.<\/p>\n

According to the officials, \u201cThe decision was made during a recent meeting of the district intelligence coordination committee, where these officials were identified as providing support for the participants of the anti-government sit-in<\/a> as well as the protest rally.\u201d<\/p>\n

The notification further added that, \u201cOn the basis of the meetings\u2019 recommendation, the commissioner has suspended over 30 employees from grades 1 to 15, and disciplinary action against the officials of grade 16 and above was initiated via the letter to the secretaries of the concerned departments.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIn addition to this, 14 government employees in the Kohlu district were suspended for taking part in the sit-in and supporting the long march participants when it reached Kohlu during the past months,\u201d shares the details.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the notification has mentioned that the action against these government employees was taken under the Balochistan Employees\u2019 Efficiency and Discipline (BEEDA) Act, 2011. Majority of the employees that are facing the disciplinary action belongs to the education department, serving as the teachers in the various schools.<\/p>\n

It is to be hereby added that, a large number of general public came in to support and express their solidarity with the family members and the loved ones of the Balaach Mola Bakhsh. People not just came in support, but they also joined the marchers in the Kohlu district, where markets and business centres remained shut while traffic remained thin.<\/p>\n
