Impeccable length and a spellbinding display of seam bowling!<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/SAvIND?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#SAvIND<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/keq8mJQLat\">pic.twitter.com\/keq8mJQLat<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Sachin Tendulkar (@sachin_rt) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/sachin_rt\/status\/1742485108920324396?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 3, 2024<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Dean Elgar (4), Aiden Markram (2), Tony de Zorzi (2), David Bedingham (12), Kyle Verreynne (15), and Marco Jansen (0) were all removed by Siraj.<\/p>\n<p>Mukesh Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah each took two wickets.<\/p>\n<p>Among the Proteas batsmen, only Kyle Verreynne (15) and David Bedingham (12) were able to reach double digits.<\/p>\n<p>In the history of Test matches, South Africa\u2019s total of 55 is the lowest by any team against India.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, since 1889, this was the lowest score after South Africa chose to bat at home.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier on Wednesday at Newlands, in the second and final Test matchup between South Africa and India, captain Dean Elgar chose to bat first.<\/p>\n<p>The goal of the hosts is to sweep the series against the world\u2019s best team.<\/p>\n<p>After winning the first Test in Pretoria by an innings and 32 runs, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bolnews.com\/sports\/2023\/12\/proteas-pulverize-india-south-africa-takes-first-test-by-an-innings\/\">South Africa<\/a> made three changes to the squad.<\/p>\n<p>Temba Bavuma, the regular captain, is injured, so middle-order batter Tristan Stubbs makes his debut.<\/p>\n<p>In lieu of the injured Gerald Coetzee, spinner Keshav Maharaj earned his 50th cap, while seamer Lungi Ngidi took Keegan Petersen\u2019s position.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt looks an interesting wicket, a few snakes in it, hopefully it comes to the fore when we bowl,\u201d Elgar said. \u201cIt is a big hurdle for us and a big test, this is our marquee game for the season.
