His services for the nation will always be remembered,\u201d Iqbal added.<\/p>\n
President Dr Arif Alvi expressed his grief over the death and extended his condolences to Aziz\u2019s family.<\/p>\n
Caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar lauded the deceased as an \u201cexperienced politician\u201d and a \u201cgreat asset\u201d to the nation.<\/p>\n
Interim Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani said he was \u201cdeeply grieved\u201d to learn about the death and praised the deceased as a \u201cthorough gentleman\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe was an iconic figure who served Pakistan selflessly and with exemplary dedication. He will always be remembered for his intellectual prowess, integrity and kindness,\u201d the foreign minister said.<\/p>\n
Caretaker Information Minister Murtaza Solangi also paid tribute to Aziz and extended his condolences to the family.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe was a leader who played an important role in the development of Pakistan. Sartaj Aziz\u2019s services for solving the country\u2019s economic problems are unforgettable,\u201d Solangi said.<\/p>\n\n
