LAHORE \u2013 Winter vacations<\/a><\/strong> in all educational institutions in Punjab \u2013 including those in the provincial capital Lahore \u2013 have been extended till Jan 10, 2024.<\/p>\n

A notification issued by the school education department said all institutions have been asked to restart classes on Jan 10 Monday.<\/p>\n

The holidays for schools students have been extended amid the severity of weather, and alarming situation of smog<\/a><\/strong>. Lahore High Court also ordered education department to share a notification of an extension in winter vacations.<\/p>\n

Following the orders, the SED issued a notification, stating \u201cIn continuation of this department\u2019s notification of even No. dated 01.12.2023 winter vacations in all Public and Private schools in the province of Punjab are hereby extended up to 09.01.2023.\u201d<\/p>\n

It should be noted that notification applies to schools in Punjab, and the government has not shared any update for winter break extensions for colleges, and universities.<\/p>\n
