Under the new system, every team will play a minimum of eight games.<\/p>\n<p>A few Premier League managers have voiced their worries about the players\u2019 workload and its effects.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI feel like we\u2019ve reached a stage where people are ready to take legal action, where people are ready to take tangible action on the pitch to try to resolve it, because it\u2019s a sad state of affairs,\u201d Molango told Sky News.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think it\u2019s a defeat for football when the players need to take the justice in their own hands because they don\u2019t feel protected.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A new Intercontinental Cup will be held annually starting in 2024, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bolnews.com\/sports\/2023\/12\/tehran-derby-welcomes-women-fifa-engagement-yields-progress-in-iran-infantino-claims\/\">FIFA\u2019s<\/a> redesigned Club World Cup, which will include 32 teams and be hosted in 2025, will take place from June 15 to July 13.<\/p>\n<p>The European teams that qualify will only have a short break between the 2024\u201325 and 2025\u201326 seasons due to the Club World Cup dates.<\/p>\n<p>Molango responded, \u201cI think that the players are ready now to take a strong stance,\u201d when asked if the competition\u2019s organizers run the risk of destroying football.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI do think that the authorities who are supposed to protect the players and protect the games are not doing that.
