Faryal Makhdoom, the British-Pakistani entrepreneur, has called out UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador Priyanka Chopra Jonas on Instagram after the latter purportedly removed a story the former Miss World had posted about the ongoing Israeli atrocities in Gaza and the West Bank.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Indian star then allegedly removed the post, causing Makhdoom to lash out at Chopra Jonas on the same medium. Reacting to one of the posts on an Instagram Story which read, “Indian actor Priyanka Chopra is active again on her Instagram on Palestine”, the internet star commented, “People need to stop rating her.” Makhdoom went on, “She does not deserve the praise, she is not pro-Palestine. She is full of sh*t and she deleted the post.”<\/p>\n

Chopra Jonas had previously, taken to the photo-sharing app and shared a post regarding the Israel-Palestine situation. “In all wars, it is children who suffer first and suffer most,” the actor shared in a post. The Citadel star then added several points to respond to the situation for the children affected in Gaza and Israel. “Children need peace. Now,” she said.<\/p>\n

Apart from the post, Chopra Jonas is also one of the several prominent names who had appended their signatures to the ceasefire letter. The Indian actor joined the likes of Janelle Monae, a Grammy-nominated singer, Hollywood icon Richard Gere, comedian and host Hasan Minhaj, and the well-known supermodel siblings Gigi and Bella Hadid.<\/p>\n

Makhdoom, however, has been crystal clear on her stance regarding the same. She is one of the many public figures using her fanbase to draw attention to Israeli aggression in Gaza and the West Bank since tensions in the region escalated after Hamas retaliated on Southern Israel on October 7.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Makhdoon had taken to her Instagram account to share a series of pro-Palestine posts and went on to condemn the Israeli government\u2019s longstanding occupation of the Palestinian territories. Makhdoom also took her fellow celebrities to task for not taking a stand against the intensifying atrocities in Gaza.<\/p>\n
