Veteran Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee made news with his comments on director Zoya Akhtar\u2019s Netflix film \u2018The Archies<\/em>\u2018.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2018The Archies<\/em>\u2018, which is the live adaptation of the American comic series, has been the talk of the town. The musical received mixed to negative reviews from fans and critics.<\/span><\/p>\n

Moreover, it was also termed \u201cNepo-Fest\u201d as the leading cast Agastya Nanda, Suhana Khan and Khushi Kapoor are related to prolific Bollywood faces.<\/span><\/p>\n

Manoj Bajpayee gave his reviews about the film in an interview with India showbiz channel Zoom. He said he did not like the project and was surprised that his daughter, Ava, disliked it as well.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cMy daughter was watching \u2018The Archies<\/em>\u2018 and I told her, \u2018I am not liking it\u2019,\u201d he was quoted saying by India news agency Hindustan Times. \u201cShe was like, \u2018Okay\u2019 and by then I had watched it for 50 minutes. \u2018Archies<\/em>\u2018 is not a part of my growing up years. My growing-up years included \u2018Motu Patlu<\/em>\u2018 and \u2018Ram Balram<\/em>\u2018.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI might have read maybe just one book of \u2018Archies<\/em>\u2018 and I remember Veronica and Betty. But, she was also not liking it.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The \u2018Satya<\/em>\u2018 star recalled him telling Ava to speak Hindi liked the actors did in the Netflix film. However, his daughter scolded him for disturbing her while watching the film. She also complained that he does not spend enough time with his family.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

He recalled, \u201cShe said, \u2018You are not giving family time, papa.\u2019 Every time I start scolding her, she scolds me in return.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
