{"id":39566,"date":"2023-12-25T05:53:05","date_gmt":"2023-12-25T05:53:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.pakistaninewspaperlist.com\/president-pm-urge-following-quaid-i-azams-vision-as-nation-celebrates-his-147th-birthday\/"},"modified":"2023-12-25T05:53:05","modified_gmt":"2023-12-25T05:53:05","slug":"president-pm-urge-following-quaid-i-azams-vision-as-nation-celebrates-his-147th-birthday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pakistaninewspaperlist.com\/news\/president-pm-urge-following-quaid-i-azams-vision-as-nation-celebrates-his-147th-birthday\/","title":{"rendered":"President, PM urge following Quaid-i-Azam\u2019s vision as nation celebrates his 147th birthday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<p>As the nation celebrates the 147th birthday of Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah today, the prime minister and president urged Pakistanis to follow the vision of the founder of the nation.<\/p>\n<p>The day dawned with gun salutes in the federal and provincial capitals followed by a change of the guard\u2019s ceremony at Quaid-i-Azam\u2019s mausoleum in Karachi, <em>Radio Pakistan<\/em> <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"link--external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.radio.gov.pk\/25-12-2023\/nation-celebrates-quaids-birth-anniversary-today-with-zeal-fervor\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Special programmes were also arranged by various social, political, governmental and non-governmental organisations and forums to celebrate the birthday of the founder of Pakistan.<\/p>\n<p>In his message shared today, President Dr Arif Alvi said Quaid-i-Azam was the great benefactor of the nation whose tireless efforts led to the creation of a separate homeland for Muslims of the subcontinent, state-run <em>Radio Pakistan<\/em> <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"link--external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.radio.gov.pk\/25-12-2023\/president-pm-stresses-upon-unity-under-quaids-guiding-principles\">said<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The president said the current situation in the country demanded the following of the Father of the Nation\u2019s vision and his guiding principles in letter and spirit to promote unity and democratic values.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Alvi also stressed the need for unity, hope and justice for the promotion of Islamic ideals, moral values, unity and brotherhood.<\/p>\n<p>Separately, caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar said Quaid\u2019s principles of \u2018unity, faith and discipline\u2019 should be the guiding principles for all as a nation, according to <em>Radio Pakistan<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah\u2019s personality is a beacon of guidance owing to his unmatched character and extraordinary leading qualities, the premier said.<\/p>\n<p>He added that the resolve and undeterred will of the Quaid had infused the Muslims with firm determination and courage to face all the ordeals in the continuation of their struggle and in the way of achieving their great goal.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As the nation celebrates the 147th birthday of Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah today, the prime minister and president urged Pakistanis to follow the vision of the founder of the nation.
