In the recent fusion of Bollywood glamour and political aspirations, the renowned ‘Queen’ of Bollywood, Kangana Ranaut, is set to venture into the political arena, as per reports by The Economic Times<\/em><\/a>. Confirming the news, Kangana’s father, Amardeep, revealed her intent to contest elections next year, exclusively on a BJP ticket. Speculation arose following her meeting with BJP’s National President JP Nadda in Kullu on Sunday.\u00a0<\/p>\n

This convergence of entertainment and politics echoes a global trend observed over decades. Kangana, a vocal supporter of the Modi government, had previously hinted at a political foray in media interviews, aligning herself with BJP initiatives. Earlier in November, Kangana spoke with PTI<\/em><\/a>, expressing her aspiration to contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections if \u201cblessed by Lord Krishna\u201d. Present in Dwarka to offer prayers at the renowned Dwarkadhish temple, the actor hinted at a possible political journey, leaving the prospect open for the future.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Commending the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led Union government, Kangana lauded their role in facilitating the installation of Lord Ram’s idol in Ayodhya, marking a significant achievement after \u201c600 years of struggle\u201d. Professionally, the actor is gearing up for a pivotal role as she steps into the shoes of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in the upcoming biographical historical drama film, Emergency<\/em>. The film delves into the tumultuous period of the Indian Emergency between 1975 and 1977.<\/p>\n

Previously in July, Kangana grabbed headlines for a series of Instagram Stories, discussing her alleged encounters with fellow actors and exposing what she referred to as the ‘film mafia’ operating in the industry. Among the revelations, she shared her experiences with actor Hrithik Roshan and hinted at another superstar, believed to be Ranbir Kapoor, making shocking claims about their behaviour and intentions.<\/p>\n

As she reminisced about her alleged affair with Hrithik, a saga that had previously unfolded in the public eye, she detailed falling victim to a scam, wherein someone impersonated Hrithik and manipulated her through various accounts and phone numbers.<\/p>\n

Kangana did not stop at that and went on to shed light on what she referred to as the ‘film mafia\u2019. She accused this group of engaging in criminal activities, including but not limited to inflating box office figures by purchasing tickets in bulk and resorting to cyber espionage to obtain sensitive information about contracts and personal lives of artists. Such practices, if true, could raise serious questions about the integrity of the film industry.<\/p>\n
