After receiving the clean chit from the court, the supremo for Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz, Nawaz Sharif<\/a>, will be contesting elections for the National Assembly seat in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa\u2019s NA-15 (Manshera).<\/p>\n

The confirmation about the above statement has been made by his son-in-law Captain Muhammad Safdar on Wednesday. He made the following statement while addressing the media outside the deputy commissioner\u2019s office in Manshera.<\/p>\n

Elaborating further on his statement, Captain Muhammad Safdar said that, \u201cNawaz Sharif will be our election candidate from NA-15 (Manshera-II). He will become the prime minister as an elected representative of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for addressing the province\u2019s deprivation.\u201d<\/p>\n

Adding further on this, Captain Muhammad Safdar said that, \u201cHe had received the nomination papers for the former prime minister and would submit them today.\u201d<\/p>\n

He further said that, Amir Muqam would be the choice of the Pakistan Muslim League<\/a>-Nawaz for the chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Whereas, his wife, Maryam Nawaz, is the party\u2019s candidate for the Punjab CM Office.<\/p>\n

Confirming more on this, Captain Muhammad Safdar said that, \u201cA formal announcement in the above mentioned regard would be made later.\u201d<\/p>\n

It is to be hereby mentioned that, Captain Safdar, who had earlier contested polls from NA-15, said that, he will not going to contest the elections this time. Clarifying on this, he said that, he wanted to become a Senator this time and he added that he will never decline the offer from the party for a Senator ticket.<\/p>\n

Along with this, it may be added here that the president for the PML-N, Shehabaz Sharif, is likely to submit his nomination papers from Lahore\u2019s NA-123, PP-158, and PP-164 seats. He is also expected to file the papers from Karachi\u2019s NA-242. Maryam Nawaz is likely to file the nomination papers for the NA-119 seat as well as the two PA seats in Lahore.<\/p>\n
