American filmmaker Zack Snyder has a massive vision for his latest Netflix sci-fi franchise, \u2018Rebel Moon\u2019<\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

With his sci-fi epic, \u2018Rebel Moon \u2013 Part One: A Child of Fire\u2019<\/em> set to premiere on the streaming giant Netflix in less than two days, filmmaker Zack Snyder has planned big for the franchise \u2013 something like his own version of the \u2018Star Wars\u2019<\/em> universe.<\/p>\n

While fans know Snyder for his grand visions, even the most loyal of legions might be surprised to learn that the \u2018Justice League\u2019<\/em> director has no less than 800 years of lore for the \u2018Rebel Moon\u2019<\/em> franchise on the map already, as confirmed by British actor Staz Nair.<\/p>\n

In a new conversation with a foreign publication, Nair aka Tarak of \u2018Rebel Moon\u2019<\/em> spilt the beans on those big plans of Snyder saying, \u201cIt first started very visually \u2013 I\u2019m a visual learner, which is wonderful. I mean he [Snyder]\u2026 has a kind of \u2013 not just a bible, but an 800-year lore, where he has visual kind of renderings of the whole movie.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSo it started off by showing me every world; what they were inspired by; how they felt, how they looked, and it\u2019s amazing to see how similar his renderings are\u2026 similar to the world he\u2019s created,\u201d the \u2018Game of Thrones\u2019<\/em> actor added.<\/p>\n

\u201cThen we sat down and started talking backstory.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2018Rebel Moon \u2013 Part One: A Child of Fire<\/em>\u2018 is set to premiere on Netflix on December 22, with a second movie to be released in April.<\/p>\n
