Bollywood\u2019s celebrated filmmaker and close friend of Irrfan Khan, Vishal Bhardwaj revealed that he still has the voice recordings of the late actor, of the lullabies that he used to sing to himself to ease pain.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In a new interview with an Indian media outlet, ace filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj, known for cinematic gems like\u00a0\u2018Haider\u2019, \u2018Omkara\u2019<\/em>\u00a0and \u2018Maqbool\u2019,\u00a0<\/em>shared that he has saved all the voice recordings of his friend Irrfan Khan, that he sent him in his final days.<\/p>\n

\u201cDuring his last days, he would be in too much pain, so he couldn\u2019t sleep. He used to sing lullabies to himself and he used to send me those recordings.\u00a0Ki ab aapko meri acting ke sath mera gana bhi sunna padega, Vishal saab<\/em> (Along with my acting, you\u2019ll have to listen to my songs as well),\u201d Bhardwaj said, recounting the fond memories.<\/p>\n

The filmmaker also shared that he wrote a script \u2018Irrfan aur main\u2019 <\/em>to pay tribute to the late actor. \u00a0\u201cThat has the whole account of how we were both in touch [during his last days]\u2026,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Notably, Bhardwaj and Irrfan had collaborated on acclaimed films like \u2018Maqbool\u2019, \u2018Haider\u2019<\/em> and \u20187 Khoon Maaf\u2019<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, prolific Bollywood actor Irrfan died in April 2020, at the age of 53, after a years-long battle with neuroendocrine cancer.<\/p>\n
