An Anti-terrorism court in Quetta has remanded fashion designer and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers, Khadija Shah<\/a> in police custody for seven days.<\/p>\n

After the completion of three day police remand on Friday, fashion designer and PTI worker Khadija Shah was produced before Judge Sadat Bazai in tight security.<\/p>\n

It is to be noted that, earlier the district attorney has asked for 14 day remand arguing that a letter about her case had been sent to the Federal Investigation Agency and at least two weeks remand was required so that the FIA reply be received by then.<\/p>\n

While opposing the prosecution\u2019s plea, her counsel, Iqbal Shah, informed the court that, Khadija Shah had \u201cnothing to do with the PTI.\u201d<\/p>\n

After hearing the arguments from both the sides, the judge rejected the request from the district attorney and remanded her in police custody for only seven days.<\/p>\n

It is to be hereby mentioned that, Quetta police has detained Khadija Shah in Lahore on Monday, when she was released by the ATC Lahore after withdrawal of her detention order by the government of Punjab. She was then shifted to Balochistan.<\/p>\n

Notably, the Anti-Terrorism Court on Tuesday, has granted three days custody of Khadija Shah to the police in case related to the instigation of violence.<\/p>\n

During the previous hearing, the police has then levelled allegations against Former PTI worker and fashion designer, Khadija Shah of inciting violence<\/a> through the social media platforms and WhatsApp. Even then, the investigation officer have emphasized on the need for a forensic examination of the mobile phone of the suspect.<\/p>\n

It is to be hereby mentioned that, on Nov 15, an anti-terrorism court had granted Shah bail in the fourth and last case of May 9 protests against her. However, she was re-arrested on Nov 17 under the Maintenance of Public Order (MPO) ordinance for 30 days.<\/p>\n
