{"id":36070,"date":"2023-12-16T07:02:11","date_gmt":"2023-12-16T07:02:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.pakistaninewspaperlist.com\/online-cab-driver-killed-in-karachi\/"},"modified":"2023-12-16T07:02:11","modified_gmt":"2023-12-16T07:02:11","slug":"online-cab-driver-killed-in-karachi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pakistaninewspaperlist.com\/news\/online-cab-driver-killed-in-karachi\/","title":{"rendered":"Online cab driver killed in Karachi"},"content":{"rendered":"<div data-td-block-uid=\"tdi_86\">\n<div class=\"tdb-block-inner td-fix-index\">\n<p><strong>KARACHI: At least two individuals were killed, and one woman injured, in a gun attack that took place last night in Karachi\u2019s Nazimabad area, ARY News reported on Saturday.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to the details, a family of two reportedly took an online cab service while returning from a wedding after three to four armed individuals on two bikes opened fire at a moving vehicle and fled from the scene.<\/p>\n<p>The rescue officials revealed that the driver and two passengers \u2013 a man and a woman \u2013 sustained bullet injuries and during transfer to the hospital, the driver and a male passenger, Tariq, perished while the wife of Tariq, Beenish, is currently under medical surveillance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>READ: <a href=\"https:\/\/arynews.tv\/online-cab-driver-murdered-in-karachi\/\">Online cab driver murdered in Karachi<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the deceased online car driver has not been identified yet, furthermore, the mobile phone of the car driver was also missing.<\/p>\n<p>According to police officials, the deceased, Tariq, is a relative of an official from a regional political party.
