{"id":35740,"date":"2023-12-15T10:51:09","date_gmt":"2023-12-15T10:51:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.pakistaninewspaperlist.com\/pti-founder-summoned-in-illegal-nikkah-case\/"},"modified":"2023-12-15T10:51:09","modified_gmt":"2023-12-15T10:51:09","slug":"pti-founder-summoned-in-illegal-nikkah-case","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pakistaninewspaperlist.com\/news\/pti-founder-summoned-in-illegal-nikkah-case\/","title":{"rendered":"PTI founder summoned in &#8216;illegal&#8217; nikkah case"},"content":{"rendered":"<div data-td-block-uid=\"tdi_86\">\n<div class=\"tdb-block-inner td-fix-index\">\n<p><strong>ISLAMABAD: A local court in the federal capital has summoned former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder in \u2018illegal\u2019 nikkah case, ARY News reported.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>District and Session Courts Islamabad has issued a written of the hearing into the \u2018illegal\u2019 nikkah of PTI founder and Bushra Bibi.<\/p>\n<p>A one-page written order released by Judge Qudratullah stated that the former first lady Bushra Bibi was granted a day exemption from court appearance and was asked to submit a surety bond worth Rs50,000 to ensure her presence on the next hearing of the case.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, due to a technical fault, the PTI founder was unable to attend the hearing from Adiala Jail on Skype.
