Kate Micucci, well-known for her role in the \u2018Big Bang Theory\u2019, said she had been diagnosed with lung cancer.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In a video posted to social media app TikTok over the weekend, the 43-year-old actor revealed her diagnosis. Micucci, wearing a hospital gown, said she underwent lung cancer surgery on Friday.<\/p>\n

\u201cHey everybody, this is not a TikTok, it\u2019s a \u2018Sick Tok,\u2019\u201d she said. \u201cI\u2019m in the hospital but it\u2019s because I had lung cancer surgery yesterday. They caught it really early.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s really weird, because I\u2019ve never smoked a cigarette in my life so uh, you know, it was a surprise,\u201d Micucci said. \u201cBut also I guess, also, it happens and so the greatest news is they caught it early, they got it out, I\u2019m all good.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s been a little bit of a trip and [I\u2019ll] probably be moving slow for a few weeks but then I\u2019ll be back at it,\u201d Kate Micucci said, adding that she can\u2019t wait to get back to painting.<\/p>\n

Upon a fan\u2019s asking if she had any symptoms of the disease, Kate Micucci shared: \u201cI had one thing in my bloodwork that came back really high.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
