The grisly horror film franchise \u2018Saw<\/em>\u2018 is not dying soon as Lionsgate confirmed \u2018Saw 11<\/em>\u2018 and unveiled the release date on its social media handles.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It seems as if John Kramer aka \u2018Jigsaw\u2019 isn\u2019t done teaching lessons of \u201cappreciating life\u201d to mischief makers in the worst way possible as the 11th film in the grisly \u2018Saw<\/em>\u2018 franchise will be released on September 27, 2024.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe game continues. 9.27.24,\u201d Lionsgate stated.<\/p>\n

The decision to greenlight \u2018Saw 11<\/em>\u2018 was probably taken considering the box-office success of its predecessor \u2018Saw X<\/em>\u2018. The plot, cast, director and production team have not been announced so far.<\/p>\n

\u2018Saw X<\/em>\u2018, which marked the return of Tobin Bell as John Kramer aka \u2018Jigsaw\u2019, collected $107 million globally against the production budget of $13 million.<\/p>\n

It is pertinent to mention that \u2018Saw X<\/em>\u2018 director Kevin Greutert had hinted that the franchise would end with the film and it could be a farewell to Tobin Bell in an interview.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are so many directions we could go, but for me, there\u2019s no obvious one coming out of this film,\u201d he said. \u201cI really wanted it to feel like a kind of final send-off for the Jigsaw character, but never say never.\u201d<\/p>\n

The \u2018Saw<\/em>\u2018 franchise began in 2004.
