Pakistan leg-spinner Abrar Ahmed, has been ruled out of the first Test against Australia due to ankle injury.<\/p>\n

According to sources, his participation in the second Test is also doubtful.<\/p>\n

The decision has been made to send left-arm spinner Sajid Khan to Australia in place of Abrar. The selection committee has unanimously agreed upon Sajid in consultation with the team management.<\/p>\n

Once the travel documents are complete, Sajid will depart on the first available flight. Sajid is being preferred due to having abundant left batters in Australian team and effective left-arm spin bowling. He has taken 22 wickets in seven Tests so far.<\/p>\n

Sajid played his last Test match against Australia in March last year. The first Test between Pakistan and Australia will be played in Perth from December 14th.”<\/p>\n
