A Pakistan Army soldier was martyred in an exchange of fire with terrorists in the Sararogha area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa\u2019s South Waziristan district, the military\u2019s media wing said on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), a fire exchange took place between army troops and terrorists after the military \u201ceffectively engaged the terrorists\u2019 location\u201d.<\/p>\n
The statement added that 26-year-old Sepoy Ahmed Ali, a resident of Charsadda district, embraced martyrdom after \u201cfighting gallantly\u201d with terrorists during the \u201cintense fire exchange\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cSanitisation operation is being carried out to eliminate any terrorists found in the area as security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism,\u201d the ISPR said.<\/p>\n
It added that \u201csuch sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve.\u201d<\/p>\n
