{"id":31802,"date":"2023-12-05T14:54:05","date_gmt":"2023-12-05T14:54:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.pakistaninewspaperlist.com\/peshawar-police-recovers-dead-body-of-an-italian-from-flat\/"},"modified":"2023-12-05T14:54:05","modified_gmt":"2023-12-05T14:54:05","slug":"peshawar-police-recovers-dead-body-of-an-italian-from-flat","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pakistaninewspaperlist.com\/news\/peshawar-police-recovers-dead-body-of-an-italian-from-flat\/","title":{"rendered":"Peshawar police recovers dead body of an Italian from flat"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/channel24.pk\/pm-sharif-visits-lady-reading-hospital-peshawar-to-express-solidarity-with-injured-in-police-line-blast\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">Peshawar<\/a> police has recovered the body of an Italian national from a flat in Nasir Bagh area on the outskirts of the provincial capital on Sunday night.<\/p>\n<p>They added that, Joshua Vargas, who had landed at Bacha Khan International Airport via a Saudi Airline flight on October 8, was found dead at a residential flat.<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-1\" style=\"margin: 8px 0; clear: both;\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbiu.gov.dm\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" rel=\"nofollow external noopener noreferrer\"><\/a><\/div>\n<p>As per the police team investigating on the spot, \u201cthe citizen of Italian was visiting the provincial capital and was residing in a flat rented by his friends, who <a href=\"https:\/\/channel24.pk\/participants-of-round-table-promise-to-declare-peshawar-tobacco-free-capital\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">Vargas<\/a> met online. They added though his friends were not arrested, they were part of the case investigation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>One of the official investigating the case, said that, \u201cHis friends tried to talk to him but Vargas was not receiving calls since his mobile phone was switched off.\u201d He further added that the main door of the flat was open with a note attached to it saying the flat\u2019s main door was open with a note attached to it saying that, \u2018don\u2019t open, call police.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>According to the official, \u201cthe friend of Vargas called the police, which rushed to the spot.\u201d He said that the police found another note in the flat with \u2018keys are in the kitchen\u2019 having written on it.
