Bollywood actor Bobby Deol finally opened up on his limited screen time in his latest release, \u2018Animal\u2019<\/em>, starring\u00a0Ranbir Kapoor.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In a new interview with an Indian media outlet, Bobby Deol addressed the hype around his antagonistic character Abrar Haque and the audiences\u2019 disappointment over his limited number of scenes in the film, despite the potential that the character held.<\/p>\n

He said, \u201cIt\u2019s not the length of the role, it is the kind of the character which has so much substance. I wish I had more scenes but when I signed the film, I knew this is what I had.\u201d<\/p>\n

The \u2018Aashram\u2019<\/em> actor continued, \u201cAt that point in my life, I was grateful to God that I was given this chance to play this role by Sandeep (Reddy Vanga). I knew I had only 15 days of work and wouldn\u2019t be there throughout the film. I was sure people would notice me, but I never realised that there would be so much love, appreciation and affection. It\u2019s like wow! It\u2019s amazing.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also communicated the possibility of an \u2018Animal\u2019<\/em> spin-off around his character and stated, \u201cPeople have loved the character so much that there should be a spin-off. It is so encouraging that people appreciate your work and they want to see more of you, playing that character. It feels good.\u201d<\/p>\n

Apart from Bobby Deol and Ranbir Kapoor, \u2018Animal\u2019<\/em> also featured Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Tripti Dimri in pivotal roles.<\/p>\n

After being postponed from the August release, the neo-noir action-thriller finally hit the theatres on Friday, scoring a bumper opening at the Box Office. The title crossed INR356 crores in its worldwide ticket sales at the end of the debut weekend.<\/p>\n
