Former\u00a0legendary Pakistan pacer, Wasim Akram, has extended his heartfelt wishes to the national cricket team as they set out on their tour to Australia for a three-match Test series.<\/p>\n

In a recent social media video shared on platform ‘X,’ Akram specifically highlighted the newly appointed leadership, emphasizing the need for patience and decisiveness in their roles.<\/p>\n

He also expressed his well wishes, particularly to the “new boys” in key positions, including Mohammad Hafeez, Wahab Riaz and Kamran Akmal, among others.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cPakistan team has reached Australia, wish them all the luck, especially to the new boys. By new boys I mean Mohammad Hafeez who joined as Team Director\/Head Coach, Wahab [Riaz] as chief selector, Kamran Akmal and others, give them time,\u201d Wasim Akram said.<\/p>\n

The left-arm pacer also provided valuable advice to the newly appointed officials, cautioning against excessive media interactions.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey are present cricketers, it is their time. Let\u2019s give them one year. And one more advice, please don\u2019t do a press conference every three minutes, stick to your decisions, if you\u2019ve taken a decision, then you should be aware of the consequences, if you\u2019ve a disturbed mind, then the team here would have the same [mind]. So please stick to your decision, be brave,\u201d he concluded.<\/p>\n
