ISLAMABAD \u2013 The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast mainly cold and dry weather for Islamabad, Rawalpindi and most parts of Pakistan during the next two days. <\/span><\/p>\n

According to the synoptic situation, continental air prevails over most parts of Pakistan. <\/span><\/p>\n

A shallow trough is present over northern parts of the country.<\/span><\/p>\n

Under these conditions, mainly cold and dry weather is expected across Pakistan on Sunday evening\/night and the next two days. <\/span><\/p>\n

Smog\/fog is likely to prevail in plain areas of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and upper Sindh.<\/span><\/p>\n

In Islamabad, minimum temperature is likely to remain between 05-07 degrees Celsius on Monday and Tuesday. <\/span><\/p>\n

In Rawalpindi, minimum temperature is likely to remain between 09-11 C on Monday and 08-10 C on Tuesday. <\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, cold and dry weather prevailed over most parts of the country and partly cloudy\/cold in upper parts during the last 24 hours. <\/span><\/p>\n

Leh remained the coldest place in the country where mercury dropped 08 C below the freezing point. <\/span><\/p>\n

In Islamabad, minimum temperature was recorded at 07 C. <\/span><\/p>\n

Relative humidity in the morning was recorded at 94 per cent. <\/span><\/p>\n

In Rawalpindi, minimum temperature was recorded at 10 C. <\/span><\/p>\n

Relative humidity in the morning was recorded at 76 per cent. <\/span><\/p>\n
