Fans of Allu Arjun starrer \u2018Pushpa 2\u2019<\/em> are in for a disappointment as the filming of the title has been postponed due to the actor\u2019s ill health.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As reported by Indian entertainment outlets, the new schedule of \u2018Pushpa: The Rule\u2019<\/em> at the Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad, India, has been delayed, after Allu Arjun complained of severe back pain, following a song and fight sequence.<\/p>\n

Confirming the same, his rep told a local tabloid, \u201cAllu Arjun was in the jatara<\/em> [as in the first look] get-up to shoot for a song and a fight sequence. However, the costume and the vigorous scenes gave him severe back pain.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBunny was game to continue shooting despite it but Sukumar decided to take a break instead of affecting his health further. Shooting will pick up again once he recuperates,\u201d a source detailed.<\/p>\n

Notably, the filming of the hotly anticipated sequel \u2018The Rule\u2019<\/em> to the 2021 blockbuster \u2018Pushpa: The Rise\u2019<\/em> started in October last year.<\/p>\n

Makers dropped a teaser and first look at the film in April this year, coinciding with the 41st birthday of the South-Indian superstar Allu Arjun.<\/p>\n

The second instalment in the\u00a0\u2018Pushpa\u2019<\/em> franchise will witness the face-off between Arjun\u2019s character and the main antagonist Fahadh Faasil\u2019s SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat. The title also stars South starlet, Rashmika Mandanna as Pushpa\u2019s wife, Srivalli.<\/p>\n

Directed by Sukumar and Mythri Movie Makers-bankrolled, \u2018Pushpa 2 The Rule\u2019<\/em> is originally being shot in the Telugu language similar to the first part, which was later dubbed and released in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.<\/p>\n
