The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has strongly condemned the reign of terror unleashed by Indian troops across illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.<\/p>\n

According to Kashmir Media Service, the APHC in a statement issued in connection with the International Day for the Abolition of Slavery, today, called upon the United Nations to force India to end modern-day slavery in the occupied territory.<\/p>\n

The APHC pointed out that Indian troops enjoying unbridled powers under black laws are perpetrating crimes against the Kashmiris who are struggling to break shackles of Indian slavery and secure their right to self-determination, acknowledged by the World Body.<\/p>\n

The statement deplored that India was using every brutal tactic to prolong its illegal military occupation, which is the worst form of present-day slavery, over Jammu and Kashmir.<\/p>\n

The APHC also thanked the people of occupied Kashmir for observing protest strike, yesterday, against the posting of a blasphemous video about holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) by a Hindu student from India studying in National Institute of Technology (NIT) in Srinagar.<\/p>\n

The statement said, the people of Kashmir will never accept any anti-Kashmir and anti Islam agenda of BJP and RSS. It added that the Kashmiris will continue their ongoing struggle for right to self-determination till it reached its logical conclusion.<\/p>\n

The APHC called upon the world community to stand with just cause of the people of Jammu and Kashmir and play an effective role in resolving the lingering Kashmir dispute as per their wishes and aspirations.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, APHC leader Farida Behanji in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Muslims would not tolerate any kind of insult to the glory of their beloved Prophet. She said that the Indian government was playing with the sentiments of the Muslims of the world, in general, and the occupied Jammu and Kashmir, in particular and demanded strict punishment to the involved Hindu student.<\/p>\n

Illegally detained APHC leader Noor Muhammad Fayaz in his message issued from Uttar Pradesh\u2019s Nainital Jail termed blasphemy as unacceptable for Muslims and said that Kashmiri Muslims would not allow anyone to make fun of their religion.<\/p>\n

He also condemned the forced dismissal of Kashmiri government employees, arrests of Kashmiri students under black laws and confiscation of property of the Kashmiris.\u2014KMS<\/p>\n
