Alian also stole Akbar\u2019s car and fled the scene.<\/p>\n<p>The court found that Alian had shot Akbar with a 30-bore pistol and then thrown the murder weapon in the bushes near the crime scene. Witnesses identified Alian as the perpetrator of the crime.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the death sentence, Alian was also sentenced to a fine of five lakh rupees (approximately $3,000) for theft and seven years in prison for stealing Akbar\u2019s car.
