{"id":29973,"date":"2023-11-30T10:42:03","date_gmt":"2023-11-30T10:42:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.pakistaninewspaperlist.com\/industrialists-announce-strike-on-december-4\/"},"modified":"2023-11-30T10:42:03","modified_gmt":"2023-11-30T10:42:03","slug":"industrialists-announce-strike-on-december-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pakistaninewspaperlist.com\/news\/industrialists-announce-strike-on-december-4\/","title":{"rendered":"Industrialists announce strike on December 4"},"content":{"rendered":"<div data-td-block-uid=\"tdi_86\">\n<div class=\"tdb-block-inner td-fix-index\">\n<p><strong>Karachi industrialists on Thursday announced a strike on December 4 against a recent increase in the gas tariff, ARY News reported.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On October 31, Pakistan announced a sharp increase in the price of natural gas for most households and industries ahead of Pakistan\u2019s first review of a $3 billion International Monetary Fund (IMF) bailout.<\/p>\n<p>President of North Karachi Association of Trade and Industry (NKATI), Faisal Moiz Khan and Javed Bilwani \u2013 patron-in-chief Pakistan Hosiery Manufacturers &amp; Exporters Association in their statement said the units cannot run on the expensive gas rates.
