ISLAMABAD \u2013 The Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) is the competent authority to issue new driving licenses to people in the capital territory after assessing them in theoretical and practical test.<\/p>\n

All applicants, who want to obtain permanent driving license for motorcycle and car, are required to get a learner permit from the authority. The fee for double category learner permit including NADRA fee is Rs649.<\/p>\n

After completion of 42 days to the learner permit, the applicant is require to visit the traffic police\u2019s designated office along with original CNIC, copy of CNIC and learner permit.<\/p>\n

The applicant will be issued a token and asked to wait for his\/her turn.<\/p>\n

On your turn, proceed to the counter for biometric and photo.<\/p>\n

After getting the test form, applicant will attach his CNIC copy and learner with it.<\/p>\n

Later, the applicant will take theoretical test.<\/p>\n

After clearing it, the applicant will be called to the traffic theme park for the driving test.<\/p>\n

If the applicant clears the test, he\/she will be given a date to collect their permanent driving license.<\/p>\n

The ITP receives Rs1,800 in fee for car and motorcycle driving license.<\/p>\n
