LAHORE \u2013 Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast rainfall of varying intensities and isolated hailstorm for parts of Punjab including Lahore during the next two days.<\/p>\n

According to the synoptic situation, a westerly wave is likely to approach upper parts of the country. Low level easterlies are also penetrating in northeastern Punjab, Kashmir and adjoining areas.<\/p>\n

Under these conditions, cold and dry weather is expected in Lahore and most parts of Punjab on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday and Thursday, cloudy weather is expected in upper parts of the province with rain-wind\/thunderstorm and hailstorm at isolated places of Murree, Galliyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Wazirabad, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore, Hafizabad, Sargodha, Mianwali, Faisalabad, Jhang, Khushab, Toba Tek Singh, Okara and Kasur.<\/p>\n

Smog\/fog is likely to persist in Okara, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Jhang, Khanewal, Multan, Bahawalpur, Dera Ghazi Khan and surrounding during morning hours.<\/p>\n

In Lahore, minimum temperature is likely to remain between 11-13 degrees Celsius on Wednesday and 10-12 C on Thursday.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, cold and dry weather prevailed in most parts of the province during the next 24 hours.<\/p>\n

Murree remained the coldest place in the country where mercury dropped to 05 C.<\/p>\n

In Lahore, minimum temperature was recorded at 12 C.<\/p>\n

Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 63 per cent.<\/p>\n
