Additional District and Sessions Judge Humayun Dilawar, who sentenced PTI Chairman and former premier Imran Khan in the Toshakhana reference, has been appointed as Special Court (Central II) Islamabad judge.<\/p>\n

The Ministry of Law and Justice issued a notification in this regard.<\/p>\n

The notification stated that Dilawar had been appointed as Special Court (Central II) judge on deputation basis for a period of three years. He would assume charge of his duties from Tuesday (today) and will be based at the Islamabad Judicial Complex.<\/p>\n

Sources maintained that a new courtroom had been prepared for Dilawar at the Judicial Complex. Earlier, there was only one court of special judge central at the Judicial Complex.<\/p>\n

It was further stated that Dilawar would hear cases pertaining to FIA and cybercrime.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
