FAISALABAD: A young man, who killed his sister over honour three years ago, gunned down the latter\u2019s alleged paramour in Faisalabad\u2019s Bhojian village, ARY News reported on Sunday.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to police, the victim \u2013 Allah Reham \u2013 wanted to marry a girl of his village, who was later killed by his brother three years ago.<\/p>\n

Today, the police said, the girl\u2019s brother and another suspect appeared on a motorcycle and opened fire on the victim \u2013 who died on the spot.<\/p>\n

The police registered a first information report (FIR) against three suspects while further investigation was underway.<\/p>\n

Honour killings unfortunately remain common across Pakistan.<\/p>\n

In October of this year, the police arrested a man for allegedly killing his brother and sister-in-law over \u201chonour\u201d in Karachi<\/a>.<\/p>\n

According to the police, the incident took place in Karachi\u2019s Jeddah Hazara Colony, wherein a man gunned down his brother \u2013 who belonged to Swat \u2013 and sister-in-law over \u201chonour\u201d.<\/p>\n

During the initial probe, the police said, the suspect said he killed his younger brother\u2019s wife over \u2018honour\u2019.<\/p>\n

When the brother intervened, the arrested accused killed him as well, the police added.<\/p>\n

After killing them, the suspect sat there until the police arrived. He surrendered to the police officials, who reached the spot.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
