KARACHI: The Karachi police department has found another footage of the terrifying robbery and murder incident that took place in the Korangi area in which a father and son lost their lives, ARY News reported on Sunday.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The police investigators received another footage of the armed muggers who killed two citizens at a book shop in Korangi Number 2 a few days ago. The face of one of the armed muggers can be clearly seen in the new footage.<\/p>\n

Police officials told the media that the suspect is being identified, however, his motorcycle\u2019s number plate is not seen clearly in the footage. They confirmed that three muggers stormed the book shop.<\/p>\n

The officials said that geo-fencing of the areas adjacent to the crime scene was also conducted.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, a father-son duo was brutally killed<\/a> by armed dacoits for resisting the robbery in Karachi\u2019s Korangi area.<\/p>\n

Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) Korangi told the media that armed dacoits killed the father-son duo at a book shop over resistance. The slain men were identified as Muhammad Hassan, 70, and Asad, 37.<\/p>\n

The CCTV footage of the terrifying incident showed three robbers entering a book shop and opened fire at the shop owners over resistance.<\/p>\n

In August, a\u00a0taxi driver was gunned down<\/a>\u00a0by unidentified robbers on Saturday for not stopping a vehicle during a robbery bid near New Karachi.<\/p>\n

According to details, the incident took place when the taxi driver \u2013 identified as Mumtaz \u2013 was taking passengers back home from Jinnah International Airport to New Karachi.<\/p>\n

When the taxi reached within the limits of Bilal Colony police station, unidentified robbers intercepted Mumtaz and asked to stop the vehicle.<\/p>\n

Upon resisting and stopping the car, the robbers opened fire on Mumtaz, killing him on the spot. The police have collected evidence from the crime scene while further investigation was underway.<\/p>\n

In a statement, the police said Mumtaz was a resident of Nathia Gali and was living alone in Greentown. The family members said that Riyaz, the brother of the deceased Mumtaz, was also killed by robbers 8 years ago.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
