JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Friday pointed fingers not only at former prime minister Imran Khan but also at military generals for Pakistan’s current economic woes, accusing them of backing the “project.”<\/p>\n

During a rally in Peshawar, the Maulana criticised the previous provincial government of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, claiming that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-led administration was strategically placed to undermine the cultural traditions and Islamic values of the province.<\/p>\n

However, he acknowledged the establishment’s aim to fortify the country but alleged it was also being \u201cblackmailed through an international conspiracy.”<\/p>\n

The JUI-F emir also expressed willingness to assist the establishment and bureaucracy in preserving Pakistan’s ideological identity, securing economic stability, and fostering peace. However, he urged a commitment to refrain from reinstalling a governance model that persisted in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for a decade and at the federal level for three years.<\/p>\n

Fazl emphasised that Pakistan’s foundation rests on Islamic ideology and expressed regret that the nation deviated from its ideological principles. He interpreted the rally as indicative of widespread support for his party, hoping for a victory in upcoming elections scheduled to be held on February 8.<\/p>\n

Remembering the sacrifices of millions of people for Pakistan, he urged a renewed commitment to stand against global conspiracies against the country.<\/p>\n

Highlighting the prevailing economic crisis in Pakistan, the JUI-F chief said that they were not accidental, asserting that there was a deliberate plan behind it.<\/p>\n

Amidst Pakistan’s drive to evict illegal immigrants back to their home country, the JUI-F chief cautioned against emotional decisions, especially regarding the repatriation of illegal Afghans back to their country.<\/p>\n

He claimed that there was mounting pressure on Pakistan from various quarters to recognise Israel.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
