Addressing a press conference at the Quetta Press Club, the Minister briefed the media about the ongoing crackdown against the illegal immigrants in the province.<\/p>\n<h2>Over 2,00,000 NICs Blocked In Balochistan<\/h2>\n<p>Mr. Achakzai said police have detained over 2000 illegal immigrants and handed them over to Afghan authorities at the border. About the blocked NICs, the minister informed that the National Database Authority (NADRA) has blocked more than 2,00,000 suspected cards. \u201cNADRA is investigating the blocked NICs\u201d, he mentioned.\\<\/p>\n<p>He however said that no policeman would be allowed to disrespect any illegal immigrant. \u201cWe want to ensure their respectable repatriation\u201d, he said. This is an order from the federal government to make sure respect of every individual, he added.<\/p>\n<h2>Crackdown Across The Country<\/h2>\n<p>The Minister stated that the crackdown was across the board and that no specific community was being targeted by law enforcement agencies. \u201cPolice have the right to check every suspected person\u201d, he said.<\/p>\n<p>The caretaker information minister vowed that the government and the law enforcement agencies were committed to eliminating the curse of terrorism from Balochistan.
