Citizens Wednesday foiled an attempt to steal a valuable vehicle parked in front of a house near the Milad Chowk area of Wakeel Colony within the limits of the Airport Police station.<\/span><\/p>\n

The suspects opened fire at the locals as they escaped away from the scene. Despite surfacing of the CCTV footage of the incident, the police were still unable to trace the accused.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to sources, citizens are living in a state of fear and dread due to increasing incidents of crime in the airport area.<\/span><\/p>\n

The CCTV footage of the botched car theft clearly shows the armed suspects trying to start the valuable vehicle parked in front of the house in broad daylight. <\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the car\u2019s owner appears on the roof of the house, prompting the thieves to escape. As the suspects try to run away, one of the suspects falls from his motorcycle while several people living in the street come out of their houses to commotion in the street.<\/p>\n
