Former chief minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf president Pervaiz Elahi said on Thursday that the people of the country will not let the PML-N ‘rig the upcoming elections<\/a>‘.<\/p>\n

Speaking to the media during a court appearance, Elahi added that Nawaz Sharif’s party is fearful of Imran Khan’s popularity, hence the former premier is approaching politicians in other provinces for electoral alliances.<\/p>\n

“The PML-N can not deceive the public with their unfulfilled commitments and promises.”<\/p>\n

Elahi added that the Sharif brothers are dealing with an inadequate number of candidates in the upcoming elections.<\/p>\n

Criticising the previous Shehbaz Sharif-led government, the PTI leader said the country suffered for sixteen months under flawed policies which led to record-high inflation.<\/p>\n

While expressing his views on the caretaker setup, Elahi questioned to what extent this government would facilitate the PML-N.<\/p>\n

Pervaiz Elahi expressed his unwavering support for PTI in the future and said the ‘Baloch chieftains‘<\/em> rejected the \u2018laadlas\u2019<\/em> (favourites).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
