PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif is scheduled to fly to Balochistan next week to further expand his party\u2019s alliances with regional players, whereas PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari will also visit Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa a few days later in a bid to cobble up some support for the next elections.<\/p>\n

The PML-N on Tuesday formed an alliance with the MQM-P and announced reaching out to other players in Sindh.
Now it seems to have set its eyes on Balochistan. The PML-N sent its senior leader Ayaz Sadiq to the province and he reportedly managed reel in a former Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) leader to his party\u2019s fold.<\/p>\n

According to a BNP-M leader, who was part of the previous federal cabinet, the PML-N was currently approaching leaders from the BAP and more were expected to join them.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf this plan does not materialise, both [parties] will form an alliance for the elections,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

He further said his party was hearing of another alliance between the JUI-F, ANP and Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party in the province.<\/p>\n

The BNP-M leader continued that given the ties between the JUI-F and PML-N, this would translate into a grand alliance in Balochistan.<\/p>\n

He said BNP-M chief Sardar Akhtar Mengal was not in the country and there was no internal party discussion on the issue. He maintained that as of now, his party had no plan of forging an alliance with the PML-N.<\/p>\n

The party leader said ironically, it was the PML-N that called the BAP as \u201cthe king\u2019s party\u201d until it was in an alliance with the PTI.<\/p>\n

The PPP chairman too is expected to visit K-P from November 16 to 21, according to the party\u2019s information secretary, Faisal Kareem Kundi.<\/p>\n

He said Bilawal would meet with several leaders in K-P and many of them were expected to join the party.
Kundi continued that the PPP would be reaching out to other parties in K-P as well.<\/p>\n

In a related development, Nawaz\u2019s younger brother and former premier, PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif, said his party would return to power to accomplish the tasks left \u201cunfinished\u201d during the tumultuous 16-month tenure of the previous coalition government.<\/p>\n

\u201cPakistan was on the brink of bankruptcy when the PML-N assumed control and managed to steer the country out of its crises,\u201d he told former MNA Syed Sajid Shah and ex- MPA Malik Nazir Langrial, both representing Vehari, during his meeting with them in the southern Punjab city.<\/p>\n

Shehbaz pointed out that the PML-N had made significant sacrifices, relinquishing political capital for the greater good of the country.<\/p>\n

The ex-PM highlighted the PML-N\u2019s dedication to preventing Pakistan from experiencing further setbacks and its efforts on various development projects across the nation, particularly in Punjab.<\/p>\n

Speaking about Karachi, he mentioned the allocation of a significant amount of funds for many projects in the city, citing the importance of its progress to Nawaz.<\/p>\n
