QUETTA:<\/strong>\u00a0The outbreak of Congo fever in Quetta continues to cause concern as three more individuals affected by the disease have been urgently shifted to Karachi for advanced treatment. Among them are two doctors and one staff nurse, bringing the total number of patients transferred to Karachi to 12.<\/p>\n

4 Patients Admitted in Quetta<\/h2>\n

According to a statement from the spokesperson of the Young Doctors Association (YDA) in Quetta, the treatment of four patients infected with Congo fever is currently underway in the city. However, there is growing concern as the platelet counts of these four patients have shown a significant decrease. Dr. Arif, a medical expert in the area, emphasized the importance of addressing this alarming issue promptly.<\/p>\n

More Congo Tests Be Conducted<\/h2>\n

Dr. Arif also revealed that additional PCR tests will be conducted today to identify and monitor potential cases of Congo fever among the local population. The tests aim to facilitate early detection and prevent the further spread of the disease.<\/p>\n
