Additionally, 119 under-billing cases were registered\/processed, and fines of over Rs. 30 lakh were imposed.<\/p>\n<p>According to an SNGPL spokesperson on Tuesdsay, 32 connections were disconnected, six under-billing cases were processed, and fines of Rs. 1.86 million were imposed for illegal gas use in Lahore and Sahiwal. In Islamabad and Rawalpindi, 14 connections were disconnected, 12 under-billing cases were processed, and fines of Rs. 0.50 million were imposed. In Sheikhupura and Faisalabad, seven gas connections were disconnected, six under-billing cases were processed, and fines of Rs. 0.02 million were imposed.<\/p>\n<p>In Bahawalpur and Multan, seven gas connections were disconnected, 65 under-billing cases were processed, and fines of Rs. 0.22 million were imposed. SNGPL has urged consumers to report any suspected gas theft or illegal use of gas to the company\u2019s helpline at 1199. The company has also warned that strict action will be taken against those found involved in such activities.
