The company told Bleeping Computer that with this move, the platform can prevent malware on the platform and get more ability to \u201crestrict access to flagged content.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Discord won&#8217;t be changing users&#8217; experience sharing files on the internet as links will be refreshed automatically. The company intends to share more \u201cin coming weeks\u201d with developers, who \u201cmay see minimal impact.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Cybersecurity firm, Trellix, has recently reported around 10,000 malware samples distributed online which were being stored on Discord\u2019s content delivery network (CDN).
