{"id":19647,"date":"2023-10-31T00:26:01","date_gmt":"2023-10-31T00:26:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.pakistaninewspaperlist.com\/govt-to-recruit-hospital-heads-as-per-rules-health-minister\/"},"modified":"2023-10-31T00:26:01","modified_gmt":"2023-10-31T00:26:01","slug":"govt-to-recruit-hospital-heads-as-per-rules-health-minister","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pakistaninewspaperlist.com\/news\/govt-to-recruit-hospital-heads-as-per-rules-health-minister\/","title":{"rendered":"Govt to recruit hospital heads as per rules: Health Minister"},"content":{"rendered":"<div data-td-block-uid=\"tdi_98\">\n<div class=\"tdb-block-inner td-fix-index\">\n<p><strong>ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Federal Minister for Health Dr Nadeem Jan on Monday said that the recruitment of heads of major hospitals would be undertaken as per recruitment rules, ARY News reported.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The minister, in a media briefing, said that recruitments would be made strictly on merit following due process and procedure.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe make it clear we are working in accordance with law and all the recruitments will be made on merit in all hospitals.\u201d Dr Nadeem said, \u201cWe want transparency to improve the health system.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He said that necessary instructions to initiate process for filling of the posts of various cadres had been issued.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Nadeem said, \u201cThe government believes in upholding utmost transparency and merit in recruitments.\u201dHe said steps had been taken to increase facilities in the public sector hospitals.<\/p>\n<p>Minister said load on tertiary and secondary levels had increased and now \u201cwe are managing this issue\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>He said an MRI machine had been inaugurated at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) to facilitate patients.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Nadeem Jan said that he received complaints that the MRI machine at the hospital was out of order for the last four years and patients had to go to private hospitals for MRI.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn which I had given a deadline to the administration to make the MRI machine functional,\u201d the minister added.
