England commentator Nasser Hussain on Sunday continued to make news amid the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, this time over former India cricketer Mohammad Kaif\u2019s claims about him.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nasser Hussain, who led England from 1999 to 2003, came under the limelight over his remarks on the Three Lions\u2019 dismal performances in the ongoing World Cup.<\/p>\n

After England\u2019s defeat to Sri Lanka, the commentator said it was the worst show he had never seen England perform as badly as they have in the ongoing tournament. He added that the side collapsed as a unit with their form deserting them and it was the end of an era.<\/p>\n

Former cricketer Kevin Pietersen disagreed with Nasser Hussain\u2019s remarks. He told him to stop playing the \u201cblame game\u201d as Jos Buttler\u2019s side had spread joy over the years.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis England white ball team has given us many years of absolute joy and excitement. I\u2019m seeing quite a bit of negativity and \u2018end of era\u2019 stuff. If it is, that\u2019s life. Don\u2019t start the blame game. You\u2019re embarrassing if you do!\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Now, Mohammad Kaif recalled him being involved in an interesting moment with Nasser Hussain in 2002.<\/p>\n

The former India cricketer, while commentating in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 fixture between hosts India and defending champions England, claimed that he was referred to as legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar\u2019s \u201cbus driver\u201d by the latter.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think he must drive the bus, I think he drives Tendulkar around the bus,\u201d Mohammad Kaif recalled.<\/p>\n
