Vir’s witty take on the situation garnered support from many users who appreciated his humour and light-hearted approach. One user noted, “Nailed it,” while another commented, “This explains it!” Vir Das’ perspective highlights the absurdity of criticizing a celebrity’s dating choices and emphasizes the importance of respecting everyone\u2019s personal journeys.<\/p>\n

In the episode, Deepika had said, \u201cI wanted to be single for a while because I had come from difficult relationships. I was going through a phase where I said ‘I just don’t want to be attached, don’t want to be committed’. And I had fun! And then he comes along, so I didn’t commit, until he proposed to me. There was no ‘commitment as such. Even if we were technically allowed to see other people, we would just keep coming back to each other.\u201d<\/p>\n

Later in the episode, there was a moment when Deepika even asked Ranveer who were her suitors. To this, a visibly annoyed Ranveer said, \u201cJust a few minutes ago you said you were seeing other people and now you can’t remember who?\u201d Deepika replied, \u201cI can\u2019t remember the people,\u201d to which Ranveer held, \u201cI remember very clearly.\u201d<\/p>\n
