ISLAMABAD \u2013 The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast mainly dry weather for Islamabad, Rawalpindi and parts of Pakistan during the next couple of days. <\/span><\/p>\n

According to the synoptic situation, continental air is prevailing over most parts of Pakistan. <\/span><\/p>\n

A shallow westerly wave is present over southern parts of the country.<\/span><\/p>\n

Under these conditions, mainly dry weather is expected in most upper parts of the country including the twin cities on Friday evening\/night and the following two days. <\/span><\/p>\n

However, partly cloudy weather is likely in most districts of Balochistan and Sindh and rain wind-thunderstorms in southwestern Balochistan during the period. <\/span><\/p>\n

In Islamabad, the minimum temperature is likely to remain in the range of 09-11 degrees Celsius on Saturday and Sunday. <\/span><\/p>\n

In Rawalpindi, minimum temperature is likely to remain in the range of 14-16 C on Saturday and 13-15 C on Sunday. <\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, dry weather prevailed in most parts and cold in northern areas of the country during the last 24 hours. <\/span><\/p>\n

Leh remained the coldest place in the country where mercury dropped to 04 C below the freezing point. <\/span><\/p>\n

In Islamabad, minimum temperature was recorded at 11 C. <\/span><\/p>\n

Relative humidity in the morning was recorded at 84 per cent. <\/span><\/p>\n

In Rawalpindi, minimum temperature was recorded at 15 C. <\/span><\/p>\n
