Governor Punjab Muhammad Balighur Rehman was called on by the Ambassador the Republic of Korea, Park Kijun and discussed with promotion of bilateral cooperation in the fields of trade and tourism.<\/p>\n

Overall situation of Palestine also came under discussion during the meeting held at Governor House Lahore. Speaking on the occasion, Muhammad Balighur Rehman said that Israel\u2019s bombing of children, women and innocent civilians in Palestine Gaza is a crime against humanity. He said that the world should raise its voice against the ongoing atrocities on Palestinians and play its role in stopping it. He said that Pakistan values its relations with Korea. He said that Pakistan\u2019s government and people are grateful to the Korean government and companies for extending help to the flood victims in Pakistan last year.<\/p>\n

The Governor Punjab said that economic, technological, defence, cultural cooperation and people to people contact between Pakistan and Korea need to be further promoted. He said that economic relations between the two countries are of great importance, and bilateral trade should be boosted. He said that Pakistan welcomes all its friends and partners for business and investment. He added that Pakistan would welcome Korean investment in all sectors.<\/p>\n

Balighur Rahman said that Korean multinational companies should benefit from investment facilities under the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC). He said that Korean tourists are welcomed in Pakistan to visit Buddhist sites and historical places.<\/p>\n
