The former Indian captain and legendary spinner, Bishan Singh Bedi, has reportedly died at the age of 77 in India, on Monday.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The veteran cricketer, Bedi, played 67 Tests in his 12-year career between 1967 and 1979 and was one of India\u2019s most celebrated cricketers.<\/p>\n

He, along with Erapalli Prasanna, BS Chandrasekhar, and S. Venkataraghavan, formed the most lethal spin quartet in the history of Indian cricket.<\/p>\n

Back in 2019, the former Test cricketer and legendary leg-spin bowler Abdul Qadir passed away after he suffered a cardiac attack in Lahore, Pakistan.<\/p>\n

Abdul Qadir\u2019s son Salman Qadir and Test cricketer Kamran Akmal confirmed the demise of the legendary cricketer. He was about 64.<\/p>\n

Qadir represented Pakistan in 67 Tests and 104 ODIs between 1977 and 1993 and was widely recognized as the foremost leg spinner of his times. The 64-year old Abdul Qadir represented Pakistan in two World Cups (1983 and 1987). He also captained the Pakistan cricket team in five ODIs.<\/p>\n

He later served as chief selector for the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
