The World Kashmir Awareness Forum (WKAF) and the Kashmir Diaspora Coalition (KDC) have expressed concern over Israel\u2019s aggression on the people of Palestine.<\/p>\n

According to Kashmir Media Service, the WKAF and KDC in a joint statement issued in Washington condemned the relentless Israeli bombing of one of the most densely populated civilian populations of the world for two weeks non-stop, deliberately targeting innocent civilians.<\/p>\n

The statement said Palestinians have been living for 76 years under brutal Israeli occupation, settler-colonialism and an apartheid state. It said with a combination of forcible internal and external displacement, including the tiny, isolated enclave of Gaza which has been described by the international human rights organizations as \u201cthe world\u2019s largest open-air prison.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThese atrocities and mass killings in Palestine resonate with the people of the Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), who have been denied their right to self-determination. Implementation of UN Security Council resolutions on Palestine, and UN Security Council resolutions on Kashmir must be respected and implemented in both nations to bring about lasting peace in both conflicts, the statement added.<\/p>\n

In the meantime, the UN Security Council must urge an immediate ceasefire to stop the bloodshed of Palestinians,\u201d the statement concluded.\u2014INP<\/p>\n
