The 350-plus mark has also been breached on three further occasions.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"media  sm:w-1\/2  w-full  media--right  media--embed  media--uneven\">\n<p>    <iframe class=\"nk-iframe\" onload=\"setInterval(()=&gt;{try{this.style.height=this.contentWindow.document.body.scrollHeight+'px';}catch{}}, 100)\" width=\"100%\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" style=\"height:400px;position:relative\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dawn.com\/news\/card\/1781048\" sandbox=\"allow-same-origin allow-scripts allow-popups allow-modals allow-forms\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p>But India\u2019s wins over <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dawn.com\/news\/1779993\">Australia<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dawn.com\/news\/1781048\">Pakistan<\/a> in Chennai and Ahmedabad came in low-scoring matches and the International Cricket Council rated the two pitches as \u201caverage\u201d while the rest as \u201cgood\u201d and \u201cvery good\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSometimes wickets will turn a bit, sometimes they will seam a bit, they will swing a bit, they will bounce a bit,\u201d Dravid told reporters, adding that he disagrees with wickets being classed as \u201cgood\u201d purely because big scores are being made.<\/p>\n<p>The batting great added: \u201cSo, in a tournament, I just want to see variety, no? But the first few games, when it spins a little bit or something happens, it brings the bowlers into the game, you start rating them as average!<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhere does it leave the bowlers? Why are they coming then? If all we want to see is fours \u2014 like I said \u2014 we have T20, play two T20 matches.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"media  sm:w-1\/2  w-full  media--right  media--embed  media--uneven\">\n<p>    <iframe class=\"nk-iframe\" onload=\"setInterval(()=&gt;{try{this.style.height=this.contentWindow.document.body.scrollHeight+'px';}catch{}}, 100)\" width=\"100%\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" style=\"height:400px;position:relative\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dawn.com\/news\/card\/1779640\" sandbox=\"allow-same-origin allow-scripts allow-popups allow-modals allow-forms\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Low spectator turnout in matches not involving India has raised concerns over the 50-over format losing its significance compared to the faster T20 version.<\/p>\n<h2><a id=\"we-are-confident\" href=\"#we-are-confident\" class=\"heading-permalink\" aria-hidden=\"true\" title=\"Permalink\"\/>\u2018We are confident\u2019<\/h2>\n<p>Turning to Sunday\u2019s key clash, Dravid said India will have to bring their best to the table to get past a very good New Zealand team.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA lot of their players have played in the IPL (Indian Premier League), so they\u2019re very used to these conditions,\u201d said Dravid.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you look at their squad, we were going through their squad and obviously doing our strategy meetings, and they do have a lot of experience and depth as well. They are well balanced.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dravid added: \u201cSo, yes, of course, a very good team and playing good cricket as well. So, we know we will have to be at our absolute best\u2026but we are very confident.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>New Zealand <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dawn.com\/news\/1493238\">knocked out India<\/a> in the semi-finals of the 2019 World Cup at Manchester. That improved their head-to-head record at the tournament to 5-3.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"media  sm:w-1\/2  w-full  media--right  media--embed  media--uneven\">\n<p>    <iframe class=\"nk-iframe\" onload=\"setInterval(()=&gt;{try{this.style.height=this.contentWindow.document.body.scrollHeight+'px';}catch{}}, 100)\" width=\"100%\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" style=\"height:400px;position:relative\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dawn.com\/news\/card\/1782473\" sandbox=\"allow-same-origin allow-scripts allow-popups allow-modals allow-forms\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p>India will miss all-rounder Hardik Pandya, who <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dawn.com\/news\/1782473\">twisted<\/a> his ankle in the previous win over Bangladesh and did not travel with the team to Dharamsala.<\/p>\n<p>Dravid said Pandya\u2019s absence will affect the balance of the team. \u201cYeah, obviously, he is an important player for us and he is an important all-rounder,\u201d said Dravid.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will have to see what works best for these conditions and these wickets.
