{"id":15673,"date":"2023-10-19T06:49:04","date_gmt":"2023-10-19T06:49:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.pakistaninewspaperlist.com\/rawalpindi-police-gets-week-to-recover-sheikh-rasheed\/"},"modified":"2023-10-19T06:49:04","modified_gmt":"2023-10-19T06:49:04","slug":"rawalpindi-police-gets-week-to-recover-sheikh-rasheed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pakistaninewspaperlist.com\/news\/rawalpindi-police-gets-week-to-recover-sheikh-rasheed\/","title":{"rendered":"Rawalpindi police gets week to recover Sheikh Rasheed"},"content":{"rendered":"<div data-td-block-uid=\"tdi_98\">\n<div class=\"tdb-block-inner td-fix-index\">\n<p><strong>Lahore High Court (LHC) on Thursday gave one week time to Rawalpindi police for the recovery of Awami Muslim League chief and former interior minister Sheikh Rasheed, ARY News reported.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Rasheed who was arrested in September from Rawalpindi filed a plea through his lawyers Sardar Razzak and Sardar Shehbaz in the LHC Rawalpindi Bench.<\/p>\n<p>The IG Punjab, RPO, CCPO Rawalpindi and SSP Operations were made respondents in the case.<\/p>\n<p>In today\u2019s hearing, RPO Rawalpindi Syed Khurram Ali and CPO Rawalpindi Khalid Hamdani appeared before the court. Upon being asked by the court, the police official sought more time for the recovery of Sheikh Rasheed.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Read more:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/arynews.tv\/sheikh-rasheed-arrested-from-rawalpindi\/\">Sheikh Rasheed arrested from Rawalpindi<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u201cHow much more time do you need for recovery, what you have done so far,\u201d the court asked the cops.
