Modern city Abattoir machinery from the slaughterhouse located in Cattle Colony. Reliable source disclosed that the large machinery parts was installed in a portion of the defunct slaughterhouse was handed over to the 31-acre Karachi Trans Company under the Red Line Biogas Project, while about 06 acres is still used by the Karachi veterinary department KMC.<\/p>\n

According to our information, a large part of the machinery in the mechanical department, which is estimated to be worth millions of rupees, has been stolen.It is pertinent to mention here that the Abattoir machinery is used in slaughterhouses to process animals for meat production.<\/p>\n

The machinery is designed to be efficient, hygienic, and safe for workers. It includes equipment such as stunning boxes, carcass splitting saws, cattle boxes, and offal cleaning pans 1.Abattoir machinery is used to automate the process of slaughtering animals, which can help reduce the need for manual labor and improve efficiency.It should be noted that after the installation of imported machinery in the slaughter house, it could not be activated, which became rusty with the passage of time.<\/p>\n

The Dairy and Cattle Farmers Association Pakistan Association (DCFA) has demanded caretaker Chief minister Justice (Retd) MaqboolBaqir for an immediate inquiry into the theft of the machinery of modern city Abattoir located in Cattle Colony.<\/p>\n
